I once had an English teacher tell me, “I hope to see your name in a byline someday,” and I have remembered those words.
I graduated in July 2016 with a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from Temple University. However, I enjoy creative writing more. A lot of my writing is based on observations. I guess that’s what writing is–showing what we see, or how we see it.
Throughout high school and college, I worked as a waitress in an independent-living facility. I quit after nine years, without another job lined up. My best friend said, “That was a bold move.” And it was.
On my site, you’ll find some of my personal thoughts, as well as written work that I’ve done for school, and pieces I’ve written for family and friends.
Feel free to send me any constructive criticism you may have. Thank you!
